as ive told people before, i do not regret shaving my head last year. while some people were very surprised that i did it, it was something i had been thinking about for months prior, and seized the opportunity to actually do it. when i saw my head after it had been done, i cried. i couldnt hide anymore behind my hair - that girl in the mirror was me. it was an intense feeling of liberation. not to mention the money i had saved from not having to buy shampoo and conditioner, and the time i saved by not having to try different styles before starting my days. that all being said, i do miss having long hair. i miss trying different styles and colors. i dont want to commit to saying either im gonna just keep my hair short, though, because i can (obviously) rock it, or, im never going to cut it again and im going to keep it long for the rest of my life. nevertheless, i am excited to let it grow out for now. its just hair.
