as much as i want to believe that its good for the people, i dont. mainly due to the govs reputation of late. this video, whenever it says anything about reduction, it uses should and may which dont promise anything. i see GST as VAT, where prices are expensive, but as this video says, not on groceries but on clothes, computers and whatnots. the prices in malaysia never decrease, even when petrol price was reduced before. so what well have is a huge price difference between groceries price and luxury item prices. income is relatively stagnant and the poor/low income people will be worse off than before. my opinion, whats yours?
