as the father of 2 young boys I am deeply saddened by the MARIO DEAN story ...........in this day and age they need to stop arresting ppl for the possession of a spliff , smoking a spliff rubbing/making a spliff...............it must stop some where Jamaica is too backward in certain areas, in nice nice switzerland the drug head no where to go to get their shots that are provided by their society .........so instead of having them running the place into a mess they give it to them in a medical like sterile facility..........the police is a next issue they have or appear to have 2 much power this is a country where we have freedom of speech and because the man said he did not like the policeGAL she refused him bail and now it is all red tape to know who she is and who else was on duty...........to be poor is indeed a crime and it is even worse when you are MALE YOUNG BLACK n to make it worse POOR..........I know from experience how prejudice one can get when u are young black male poor and when u travel Jamaican, and thats y I am trying my bestEST with my children especially with my sons coz a dont no what a wud do if Mario Dean was even my brother...................I have never marched for any cause...........Andre Lawrence when the church or any other group is ready to block Half-Way-Tree I will be there...........coz Mario shud b the last person in Jamaica whose life is lost senselessly due to a spliff.................I am ready to march anyday any time ..............GOJ needs to do something and fast too as they are part and parcel of this mess..........I hope the family pursue this to the death as Mario is already dead, for no reason absolutely none.................I pray that the family will be strong in going forward .
