attention to some of MN and other states that pass out trophies to every kiddo. Your kid doesnt need to be sheltered. If they are benched, its bc they arent good enough and need to work harder. They shouldnt be getting a trophy just because... And they need to know why. Lifes lessons are important for the future of our kids. Brooks will get rejected from some sports, job interviews, schools, girls etc etc etc. How does everyone is a winnerand we dont keep score bc its just for fun help prepare him for this?? My kid will know he lost bc his team (or him) sucked it up.. Or just plain wasnt good enough. Period. If you feel your kid is being left out bc they arent getting to play as much as Johnny Boy.. Its prob bc he/she is just plain not good enough. Maybe instead of griping and complaining to the coach, you should work with your kid on his/her skills. #latenightfeedingBrooksrants
