before bed tonight we took the advice of a dear friend; we sat down together as a family and watched this epic speech. after the video, we talked a little. I said, you know there is still discrimination & there are still people who dont like other people because of the color of their skin. grace said, yeah but not in this country, right? if only! ...her comment gave me so much HOPE!!! hope for a future where it would be so foreign - so crazy that people wouldnt like someone because of their skin color! ...her comment made me so thankful for her teachers & classmates & friends & pastors & everyone in her precious little 10 year-old life that contributes to her mentality that ALL MEN ARE TRULY CREATED EQUAL & her thinking that, who would ever be so crazy to judge a person because theyre a different color or nationality?!?! after we talked, we prayed. we prayed for the people protesting right now. we prayed for understanding between different cultures. we prayed that God would help US to love others, not to judge, but to be the hands & feet of Jesus! today our family remembers & honors Dr Martin Luther King AND vow to carry on his legacy!! thanks brandon Jillian Rachal & Gary Greeno
