below I have a list to refer to when you see a fellow student: (were all guilty of this, I know, but someone has to just...put this out there for the rest of us) • dont ask them about school unless they bring it up first. university/college students spend nearly two thirds of their life busy stressing and studying. the last thing they want to do in the last third of their time, is talk about that stress. they could be sleeping, but instead theyre talking to you. make it worthwhile. • if you are a student, you know how miserable it is being questioned about your future when you are lost yourself. so just stooooopppp. • stop asking questions such as: what year are you in? so like, how long have you been here? is it your fifth year already? wow! what do you plan to work as? do you plan to go for a masters after your degree? you dont??? *chuckles* dont you know that your degree is pretty much useless if you dont at least master in something? so Im just curious ...whats your GPA?? • realize that soon enough, one of the students that you continue to harass with questions is going to set you on fire, and the rest of us are going to laugh. hysterically.
