Needless to say, fall implies redemption and/or return to the some alleged superior prior state.Anything except now is well..good. Yes...I am thinking of the social implications of things were better before. No prizes guessing where I stand on redemption. For me, it is not about stated literal belief because very few would have literal beliefs. I am interested in how such beliefs influence thinking whether of dopey nostalgia (backward looking), misplaced hope in technology (or progress) (forward looking). Think of obvious in your face redemption themes in movies? YUCKS! Flame me...somebody...but everyone is post modernist I guess....
