big congrats to Whetu who graduated today from Warrigal Road State School. Today marks the end of her journey with the SEP. We are so proud of you baby and are lucky to be able to share in your celebration. I stood proud and overwhelmed by the response she recieved from everyone when her name was called. She is such a wonderful role model for her cousins, friends and Whanau. Her speech to her SEP whanau was listen to your teachers, do what they tell you and keep learning. She is an inspiration to us all and will continue to make us proud. She got 3 awards/certificates/medals - one for Sport, a Citizenship award and the Principals Spirit of Learning Award. Our thanks go to her teachers who have been such a positive influence, always encouraging, guiding and pushing her to the limits. Mrs Brown, Miss Winter, Mrs Cock, Mrs Bauer, Mrs Bykersma, Miss Forsyth and many Teacher Aides. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for helping to mold her into a strong, confident young lady. We look forward to and will keep you up to date with her progress at Runcorn State High School in 2015. Although school is coming to an end for 2014 she still has to attend a Legends Touch tournament in Beenleigh and a Karate Xmas party in Logan Village. she has had a busy year full of learning, fun, sport and many activities. Im glad I get a rest for a couple of months cause I know she will be full on in 2015. We took her to the Disco tonight and she was in her element, having a great time with her school mates. Love you darling. Here Rena, just a few piks and will post more after her weekend events. Love you xxx
