big news out of Austin, the Blanton Museum of Art has taken the bold step of incorporating Snapchat into their communications mix... why bold ? because messages on Snapchat disappear... that scares the hell out of those who are only now getting used to fax machines, email and text... but think about it... how many of you record and archive your small talk? when you have a conversation in a coffee shop, do you record it? when you call someone, are you creating a transcript?... no, you simply talk and forget about it... recording conversations has its place, but not in social media... applause to Alie Cline at the Blanton for leading the charge and moving Austin into the future
