I have served for 3 years now and will proudly continue to serve my country. My father was deported 3 years ago while I was in Advance Individual Training transitioning into the Army. The last time I saw my father was the morning I shipped off to Basic Training. My father, like many and few, envisioned a prosperous future for my brothers, sisters, and he sacrificed his life for my family as do I for my country. My father is courageous to confront the law in order to be reunited with our family. He is not illegally crossing borders, instead he has placed his fat and my little sisters future in the hands of men whose freedom I fight for. Florencio Rodriguez, my father, is currently detained in San Diego, California awaiting verdict. He will either be reunited with our family or be sent to Mexico leaving his life, family behind. As a daughter, I please for support to bring my father home to our family in Florida. As a United States soldier, I respectfully petition to bring home innocent undocumented individuals who await to come home. #BringThemHome
