“…blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway - TopicsExpress

“…blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.” (Mark 10 vs 46). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. In Today’s Focal Scripture, Bartimaeus was introduced as “Blind Bartimaeus, the Son of Timaeus”. Notice carefully, that his problem was attached to his name. The negative situation he was known for was a prefix to his name. His problem became a part of his Identity. Friend, is there any problem in your life that has persisted so long that it has become part of your Identity? God says, its time for the problem to be swept aside. Its time to sweep away every negative stereotype that has overstayed in your life. Today, every negative condition or situation that is fast becoming a prefix to your name is hereby broken in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 10 vs 27 says, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Pray with me, “Lord, I break away from every Negative Identity that my challenges have placed on me in Jesus’ name”. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
