bodymod.org/forumposts/16940 Sooo... I saw this. *cracks his knuckles* This is what happens when you never learn that people supporting you doesnt mean, youre making a good decision. Please note that this guy likely has BIID so I wont knock him for this decision, however Ive seen this happen with people who do not have this disorder, so I decided to share my thoughts on the matter. I acknowledge that this guy clearly wants his arms cut off, but people like this always seem to have so little perspective on life in my opinion. Theres so much to enjoy in the world; even if you really would enjoy something like this, a lot of what you can get out life is going to require your arms. Aside from that, without your arms you become a burden on everyone else who then has to see to your welfare. There are some people who have underlying psychological issues which lead them to choices like this. I wouldnt personally blame them for this; it isnt always your fault, however when you are a rational, functioning human being, there is no excuse for this level of idiocy. If you cant get enough out of this amazing planet without severing your limbs then give up, youre weakening the species.
