bound to vs. bound for Good morning friends... Since a lot of people are going out of town or out of the country these days, its inevitable that they will be posting it as a Facebook status. Please be informed that it is not correct to say something like I am bound to or We are bound to when you are trying to say that you are going to a particular place. The simplest way to correct the phrase is to replace the to with a for like I am bound for or We are bound for. :P Another way to say it is (place) bound like Boracay bound, Balesin bound, Coron bound. Get it? That being said, have a safe trip and enjoy your vacation. YOLO! :)
