@careersinstudentaffairsatkentstateuniversity Kent State University hosted and celebrated its 2nd Annual Careers in Student Affairs conference with a great turn out of students and University staff members. Our goal, along with other student affairs professionals/practitioners is to increase awareness and raise appreciation for the profession by investing in our future. Todays conference featured presenters most of them were graduate students, presentation on the history of student affairs, opening/closing keynote speakers learning more about those journeys to the field, and a social/reception for students and professionals to connect more on a personal level to learn more about each other and opportunities/challenges we face as a profession. So, glad that this conference served as a vehicle in helping our undergraduate students to explore the idea of considering a career in student affairs. Special shout out to all of the planning committee members/campus partners for your hard work, dedication and service to Kent State University in making this conference a reality.
