cfs.sa.gov.au/custom/files/media/angaston_fire_update.jpg The CFS is responding to a fire in ANGASTON in the Barossa Valley, near Moculta and close to Mount Karinya Road and Pipeline Road. This is a fast moving grass fire which is travelling in an easterly direction towards Three Chain Road, and has burnt through around 1500ha. There are approximately 200 firefighters on the ground who are being supported by 4 bombers and 2 aerial observers. The CFS is also being assisted by numerous Farm Fire Units who are working together to control the blaze. Asset protection is ongoing, and crews are concentrating the Keynton and Moculta districts. The public is advised to remain vigilant as conditions are continually changing.
