chief allan adam of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, [ACFN] announced earlier in the year that he will continue to fight Shell Canada in court using the only legal content that he has, the treaty rights, that was signed in 1899 by a chief that we, the Denesuline, didnt created, he is going to use that treaty right that is mentioned in the Canadian Constitution of 1982 in section 25 (a) & (b) and 35. (1) (2) & (3) because, he says, the oil industries are infringing upon their hunting rights, the amount of land that is question right now is about 250 square kilometers that he says is destroying the animal habitat, the water, trees and the air, its a good argument but the deception is this case is two-fold, written and oral, which one is the lawyers going to use, plus, all cases are under Canadian law regardless if they say that the treaty was made between two nations, First Nation government, didnt appear until the mid 1980s, before that every group that signed the treaties was called a band, and it is still used under many sections of the Indian Act, and will the lawyers use the oral terms, like is said, its going to be an interested one
