coleraine crues 7-1 garvagh fc... not a good result for the wanderers, a lot of slip ups leading to crusaders goals today and if things were tightened up around the pitch the scoreline may of been tighter, tho garvagh still finding it hard to put the ball in the other end, crues started the game the better side and with there first corner they scored with the crues attacker finding himself free while garvagh sorted there men out, garvagh were on the back foot and a succession of corners garvagh conceded another goal after a scrappy bit of work in the box it fell to the crues player who just hit it, garvagh then started to play abit and settle and got a goal back through platt who placed his shot well, garvagh then conceded another straight after when the crues had another corner, tho a poor decision from the ref to give the corner, that left things 3-1, garvagh were finding it hard at corners as crues had a great attacking force a set plays, and with garvaghs smallish team they were doing there best, garvagh then went down to 10 men after a harsh 2nd yellow which surprised everyone, tho the refereeing was questionable allday for both sides but garvagh had the majority of the decisions go against them first half, crues added 2 further goals one from another mix up at the back and one when the ball wasnt cleared, 5-1 at half time... second half garvagh came out a much better side and started to give crues a game but late in the game crues scored to more goals with sloppy play from garvagh, garvagh also had a couple of chances through on goal but couldnt convert which leaves the scoreline looking bad, altho garvagh defiantly could have made things better and a few bad and unlucky decisions led to goals, and at the other end garvaghs confidence in front of goal is low, they have the players to get them over the line but the fight for it looks abit lost at times, not easy when your not consistently getting the results you want, but garvagh dont struggle for a team and always have good training numbers so there is defiantly a want to do better, so hopefully when it starts it wont be stopped... next up is a trip away to heights, always a hard game and with the xmas nyt out after the wanderers will want to be on it on a high
