If they did, why would they have overthrown the democratically elected governments of Iran 1953, Guatemala 1954, the Democratic Republic of Congo 1960, the Dominican Republic 1963, Brazil 1964, Chile 1973, Nicaragua 1981-1990, Fiji 1987, Venezuela 2002, Haiti 2004 and the Ukraine 2014? The answer is that the US only cares about other countries being its puppets. As long as they do what the US wants regarding geopolitical and economic issues then it has no concerns whatsoever about the country being democratic or otherwise. Another example would be Saudi Arabia which is a dictatorship and has beheaded more people than ISIS in the past few months yet are the USs friends. Why cant people look at the facts and realise this themselves?
