cont. Janice was a character that I wont soon forget. Here it was I judged her by her seemingly bag lady like appearance, and the reality of it was that she was a highly educated eccentric. She wore jewelry that I thought was costume jewelry but in reality they were expensive diamonds and rubies. As we joked back and forth I told her of my times as a maintenance man at a nursing home and other jobs I had that were around sick people. She told me of her duties at U.A.M.S. were she was retired from. She also was a 6 year cancer survivor and had been in remission for over 3 years now. Janice hands were manicured and I asked did she do her own nails because they looked really niced. She told me, honey I get my nails done twice a month my feet pedicured once a month along with a full body massage. As we talked there were two younger women listening on and like me not believing that Janice was as well to do as her appearance seemed. She wore loud colors and quite a few scarfs. Janice asked did I want to see her pedicure because it matched her manicure. I said yes, and she pulled off her shoe and showed me the prettiest feet I have seen on woman. Her toes as she said, was matched up in color with her nails that had different designs and colors. The interesting thing however, was that she had little studded diamonds put on her middle toe on which she said that they were really diamonds. We came to the end of our route and she asked me for my number and she put it in her phone which was one of those nice ones. She called me and my phone went off. We laughed when she told me over the phone that I was going to be blessed. She went in one of her bags and came out with some size 12 Italian leather quarter length boots, maroon in color with black trim. She handed me the boots and told me to try them on, I did, they fit like they were made for me. She gave me these expensive Italian made boots for the two dollars I gave her. She told me that she was going to buy me a suit of clothes to match the boots for giving me a working number. She has called to check up on me and also invited me to one her house which from what she has said it is also a nice one. 4 bedroom 2 bath brick with a 2 car garage. She wants me to do mainenance for her other rent houses. This is one of the more interesting stories that I have concerning my travels on the Little Rock transit and one that will live in my memory for some time to come. THIS JUST GOES TO SAY, YOU CANT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. More of Gods WILL will be revealed as I continue on my journey in this thing I call LIFE. Commonality.....
