couple of things i would like to say, firstly, thank you to everyone who came to the kiln farm pub/MK11 to help me celebrate my 50th birthday. most people went to great lengths to enter in to the spirit on the event by dressing as pirates, you all looked fantastic, thank you all for your gifts and best wishes. the fines generated £50 for the henery allen trust ,which i will be donating very soon. thank you to all the staff at kiln farm for your service and time, food was fantastic. next, thank you to every one who has sent me and my family their love, best wishes and support at a very sad time, the loss of my mum. she was mother to me, my brothers and sister, grandmother to 11 grandchildren and great grandmother to 4 (i think) great grandchildren. although only 4 feet feck all tall she was a giant. she helped so many people in her lifetime, especially her children. it is alway difficult losing people you love and it will take time to adjust to this huge void in my life. i remember so many things about her, things that made her laugh, the joy in her eyes when a small baby was introduced to her for the first time. when she retired she would spend her time knitting tiny cardigans and blankets to give to hospital neo-natal departments for those "beautifull tiny babys" to keep them warm on the way home. if me and my brothers wond her up to much she would chase us from the house throwing her wooden scholes at us, must have been very amusing for people to see this little lady scattering 4 huge lads like chickens out of her garden. i will miss her so much, i will never be able to repay her for the gift of life she gave me or the uncondional love she showd me so often. i am who i am today because of her, her work ethic, her love of her family the time spent with her children.
