day 2 of the gratitude challenge, Ive already made it farther than I thought I would. 1. my family; from my parents, my brother, my aunts & uncles, my grandparents (here and gone), my cousins, my great aunts & great uncles, our great grandparents, and every single person down the line who helped me become me. no matter how near or far from each other we are, weve made it through, happy, incredibly sad, losing our favorites, complete heartbreak, challenges, laughter, reunions, new babies, new family members, changing zip codes, and changing last names. there is one thing you cant deny about our family bond, and that amazing you feeling you get when someone says, oh, youre a Smith! 2. my job; the first job I always used to right down when I always got asked the infamous what do you want to be when you grow up was a veterinarian. to now be able to say that i am working with one of THE best doctors and one of THE best staff is an incredible experience. while we have our pull-our-hair-out-how-do-we-get-through-this day-without-killing-one-another. it is the most emotional and rewarding jobs Ive ever had. at the end of it all I am learning from the best of the best and doing what I truly love. 3. my friends; the crazy ones who love me through all my antics (drunk & sober). the ones that never stop holding my hand through it all. thank you for never giving me a reason to look over my shoulder because I know yall are always going to be right by my side.
