day 44: woke up this morning pretty sore and stiff from playing two basketball games back to back last night. normally, Id spend my Friday whining to Jaime and being mad that Im getting old, lol. funny how thats changed now. she/we have had a great day. I stayed with her during all of her sessions. she was pretty sore from all the work she did yesterday, but she definitely fought through it. today, I was taught how to transfer her into a car. while with her through her sessions Ive come to notice that her two main therapists are like friends now. they laugh and carry on like theyve known each other forever. I love knowing shes always in good hands. we relaxed a bit when she was all done, and after a couple of hours decided to head out. no destination in mind. we just wanted to drive around. we got in the car just fine, and as we left she had the best smile on her face. (which is normally not there while Im driving!). just being able feel the wind blow through her hair and see the town was such a great feeling. we just drove around Boston for a bit and chatted. eventually I picked up a sub and a few slices of pizza (I go all out on a date) so we could have some comfort food while we watched a movie when we got back. it was a total success. we opened up a few more cards we had waiting for us. theres still a little room left on the walls, so keep em coming! its going to be a great weekend and were looking forward to a lot more progress in the weeks to come. thanks for taking the time... #CarnucciStrong
