dear talent: thanks for your note. i understand your frustration over not seeing the email wed sent 3 weeks ago. so many modes of communication to oversee! no need to apologize; its not as though youd confirmed your attendance for a casting and then didnt show up (a minor infraction) or that you didnt reply to a shoot booking (a more serious infraction, but, much like not showing up to a casting, one that really only hurts yourself). usually -- which is to say 99% of the time -- we use email for all communication before the actual casting call, reason being that emails are the most efficient/ expedient way to reach people. even after the casting when we are putting talent on hold for a shoot, we communicate via email. while were happy to keep you in mind, in fact it will not serve your goal of being called in to a casting. when we get a project, we have about 24 hours to pull together the top 100-200 candidates to come to the next days casting. its kind of like that old game show, Beat The Clock.https://youtube/watch?v=3wEckCjgTAw (go to 6:23 to get to the meat of the matter) as soon as we have the casting specs, we post the breakdown and then immediately start building the schedule from the submissions that come in. so, you can see how our keeping you in mind is not the best way to ensure that you are invited in to future castings. a better way would be for you to check your emails often and respond promptly. i hope this is helpful. have a great holiday.
