dear travelers, sick of bad busrides and cheap AirAsia flights? Heres your alternative. Im selling my 110ccm Yamaha motorbike. I bought it in Yogyakarta 3 weeks ago and it took me all the way to Bali and around the Island. Im leaving Asia on the 16th and would like to pass it on to the next traveler. The main advantage of buying instead of renting is that you dont have to return to the place you started. Interested? Here are the facts: - Model name: Yamaha Crypton - Gearshift: 4 Gear manual, automatic clutch - Tax is payed till may next year so youre having a legal license tag and papers. I got stopped by the cops twice and never had any trouble. - The bike was made in 1998. Every local that I talked to about the bike told me that it is known for being reliable. I can confirm that with my own experience. In over 1500 km it never let me down. - Top speed is around 100 km/h. The engine is strong enough to master every steep hill I came across in Indonesia - even with two people and luggage - The tires were new when I bought the bike so you wont have any trouble with them for the next 2,3 years - The front brake received a new pair of brake shoes when I bought the bike - After I arrived on Bali I gave it to a motor guci to have a maintenance. He controlled oil, chain and gearbox and replaced the fuel filter. Things that are not working: Tachometer, electrical starter Things that are working: Fuel level meter, kick starter, blinker, light and brights, horn, brakes, engine, gearbox The bike is available on Bali from now on till the 15th of September. I can deliver it directly to your hostel. As a basis for negotiation I would say 3.5 mio. IDR. Just let me know how much you would be able and willing to pay.
