despite unprecedented invesment in malaria control in africa over past decade,about 57% of population still lives in area where risks of infection remains moderate high according to new research.however new findings also show that substantial reduction in malaria transmission have been achieved across most of the malaria-endemic countries of africa between 2000 and 2013 with more than a half of the population(around 389 million people) now living in area with a much lower risk of infection.
