driving-culture-in-ukraine Nowadays, there are billions of cars on the roars of Ukraine. According to the latest researches, there are about 6.7 billion cars in Ukraine. A great number, isnt it? At the same time, every year Ukraine loses approximately 5000 people in road accidents. The sad statistics show that the primary reason is the lack of knowledge of the traffic code rules among Ukrainian drivers. Also, bad driving culture causes numerous traffic jams every day, and as a result, there are great exaust emmisions that damage the environment. These all factors compose the situation we may witness today on the streets of Ukraine. I believe that this situation can, and should be resolved. I believe that we, the people ourselves, can improve the driving culture in Ukraine by helping each other. We are the ones who can help others in developing a friendly road environment. This group is aimed at promoting the knowledge of the Traffic Code rules among drivers: among the newbies and also, the experienced drivers, who may not be aware of the modifications that have been added to the traffic code; also among the pedestrians, who take an important place in everyday traffic. Moreover, this group will be able to help the foreign drivers, who are not familiar with Ukrainian Traffic Code, and, what is more important, with the style of driving in Ukraine. Here, everyone will be able to help the other in understanding the rights and responsibilities of the driver (or pedestrian). I believe, that if we unite for the common goal, we will be able to improve the situation on Ukrainian roads, decrease the number of car accidents victims and the number of daily traffic jams.
