(edit to my original post at the end) An exciting opportunity is coming up in Llanelli, starting in early October. A FREE Level 1 Community Development QUALIFICATION! Suitable for absolute beginners, the course is a great starting block for people who are involved in their local community (or want to get more involved!). One day every week (day and venue to be confirmed, will be central Llanelli location) for 10 weeks (plus some visits to other organisations outside of these days), during school hours (9:30am to 2:30pm). During the course well be looking at community development, equalities, community strength and working with community groups. Places are filling up fast, dont delay in registering your place...contact Carmarthenshire TC to register your interest! (Additional note: Originally I posted that places are free only to those in Communities First areas, however there are some places for people outside of these areas.
