emancipate yourself from mental slavery - none but ourselves can free our minds Bob Marley I think miseducation of lauryn hill was one of the best albums ever made. I am thinking about how how politicians have cloaked thievery in legalese and distracted the masses. I am thinking about how people stand by and see wrong being done and look the other way. why do we follow the band wagon? why do we fear doing the right thing? Im thinking that the young nazi kicking a door in to lead a Jewish family to the train had to believe there was a good reason he was doing what he was doing. sometimes we try to find a way to tip toe to the truth without exposing ourselves to the full rays of the sun, no one wants to be accused, I told the truth! about a popular lie. why do we fear standing in truth? we are miseducated in so many ways. there is a fear of what lies one the other side of truth. can we handle the truth? can we tell the truth? can we hear truth? I dont mean a half truth, or a saccharine coated truth? can we be just as responsible in truth as we are under the mask of false pretenses? can WE be responsible once we know what the truth is? or do we need the lies to get by? deception is a disease. deception binds us to maintain deception, binds us to procrastinate truth telling. deception forces us to guiltily sprinkle truth with sweet n low. truth is so feared in the world we call it... the COLD truth, the UGLY truth, the BITTER truth, the HARD truth, the TERRIBLE truth. we are give truth a bad rap! we are released from the bonds of deception with truth. the only cure is truth. the very thing people run from saves us. that is why I love this song because truth redeems us and releases us. anyway, I hope everybody in Michigan will turn off the tv and the radio and all the things that distract you from exercising your right to vote and get rid of Snyder. dont be miseducated to believe that you play no role in this. dont be miseducated to think your vote doesnt matter anyway. consider all the things that have been done to black people to keep them from voting. why would they do that if it didnt matter? throw off the shackles of all the lies of the bankruptcy, the the appointment of a dictator over you while they funnel money out of the city and shut off services to the elderly selling the whole country on the idea they were helping you. dont tip toe around the role that you play in this. dont procrastinate to make sure your 18 year old is not registered to vote. dont be distracted by tv shows or appointments. ladies, go to the polls like Idris Elba is waiting behind the curtain in the booth. if we do that, we can have a reason to celebrate. freedom FINALLY comes with truth. freedom is beautiful. vote! https://facebook/video.php?v=720168944715793
