epilogue: ...remember that guy that got smashed into by a car at 35m.p.h right after Thanksgiving, that i saw and tried to help with... I finally got another word back from Det. Sanders this afternoon that,though the hospital wont even release the mans name to him,he knows the man came back from his coma last sunday,and wheeled himself out of the hospital of his own accord on wednesday.Im pretty stoked!! The detective tried to call the guys phone to a disconnection,but as soon as he tracks the man down,hell pass my number off. Id love to meet this guy again over a good dinner and tell him how much nicer he looks than the last time i saw him,and id be super interested in talking with him about his coma,and exactly whom,or what,did he love so much that his spirit decided to come back for....It would be great to remind him of this reason,too....oh,i know he would of been just fine if he didnt come back so quickly,but, I for one am glad that he decided to keep going onward,here,now,even if i never get to meet him again...it reminds me of a place where the buddha and i would have to disagree,that,despite existing in an endlessly transient universe,one built on the carcass of everything else,one literally formed by death, their Is one thing permanent,one constant, their Is one indestructible ingredient..and that is,in all of its myriad forms,in all of its eternal hows and whys,Life... Itself
