evangelism great commission tract passed out Dec. 2013 (downtown Sac.) +by -: “Why does God allow suffering?” This problem gives support to atheism, etc. If there is an omnipotent, righteous God who cares for his creatures, why does he allow the righteous to suffer? Surely God would provide an answer in Job. Chapters 38/41, we find a monologue by God, there is not a word about Job’s suffering. These chapters deal with God’s primeval creation and his providential care of that creation! Here God has the opportunity of speaking to a man undergoing the great suffering, yet all He mentions is the magnificence of creation. He’s God. He’ll come alongside of us during suffering, he’ll work all things out for good, but suffering comes from sin, and problems can be viewed from the backdrop of His magnificent creation, according to Job. God wants to be worshiped as Creator. see freechristiantracts4 evangelism.net tract#200
