*exhale* So we just threw down an epic Real Vancouver Writers Series event at the Anza Club and holy shit theres just so much to say about it. But lets at this late hour just say thank you to the undeniable Dina Del Bucchia for being the best person I could have ever asked to share a microphone with. To Liisa Hannus for rocking the room and the tech. To the amazing Heidi Schiller, Kellee N, Katie Stewart, Laura Matwichuk, Candie Tanaka, and Dan Pon for being the resilient backbone to the operation. To the authors who read tonight: Wayde Compton, Jane Silcott, Angie Abdou, Vivek Shraya, Jackie Bateman, Alexandra Leggat who elevated their game while blowing minds and making people laugh. To everyone who came out, who didnt leave, who helped us blow through a 50L keg of Blue Buck (thank you, Phillips Brewery), who bought books and had a great time!
