You know in your head you should leave because you are beyond miserable but you still love him very much and dont want to break his heart. You also have kids together. You have tried to work on your marriage but you cant do it all on your own and he gives no effort. I know I should go but dont want my kids to hate me. Do you truly feel that people can grow apart as they get older? He is not physically abusive to myself or the kids but he is mentally (he doesnt even realize it) and I almost have no fight left in me. He is barely home at all so I guess leaving really wouldnt make things much different. He isnt a cheater and would never cheat because he was cheated on in a previous relationship. I just am at a lost as what to do but I am strongly thinking about leaving. Also should I stick it out until after Christmas so I dont ruin Christmas for our kids because the are old enough to realize and I fear that if we leave before he wouldnt bother to come see them for Christmas because he would be pissed with me and I have been living like this for years so whats another month and a half. I just know when I do leave it is not going to be pretty. Sorry I just needed to get things off my chest!
