flickr/photos/boholmission Today, what is on my mind is the folks in need in the Philippines. My cousins Ken, Kenneth Barry Rose and Lilia Rose are missionaries living in the Philippines. As you know from the news the Philippines have been hit with a double wammy. A large earthquake followed by aftershocks and now a category 5 hurricane on the same lines as Katrina was to New Orleans. Ken and Lilia are trying to help get folks clean water to drink, some food even if it is rice that has to be ground by hand, and chainsaws to mill lumber to start to rebuild their homes.
