for those of you waiting to hear news about Sebastian we went to the doctor today. Sebastians neurologist does not believe he is having seizures. What he has at this moment is being diagnosed as Sandifer Syndrome. This syndrome is caused by his Gerd being so severe that the acid causes him to have spasms or spells that mimic seizures. He has been put on a new medicine and new formula. We are hoping that it helps because the last resort medicine has potential neurological side effects, so we dont want to have to resort to it. If the Gerd goes away and the spells do not then we will take further action. but for now hes just a baby with bad acid reflux.
