for those of you who have not heard we had a fatal accident at the brooklyn center post office this morning envolving a fellow driver and a carrier the carrier was killed instantly when he was backed over as our truck was backing into the dock my heart and prayers go out to his family my prayers also go out to our driver he is a good friend of mine and i know this is tearing him apart right now but im standing behind him and all of our drivers we are proffessionals and our jobs are not easy we deal with unattentive people all day yet we get flipped off when some one cuts us off im not blamming either one of these workers for what happened but it could of been avoided i have had this happen to me more than once where some one will walk behind my truck when im backing up and have to hit the brakes infact it has happened where the accident happened today we are all saddened by this unfortunate event but reality is you see a truck backing up in no way should you go behind it a life was lost today and two lives are forever changed because of this it should not have happened
