I am curious as to what constitutional due process protections your breeding licensing ordinance has? I didn’t see anything in the ordinance that would qualify it to provide constitutional protection to citizens and the manner in which it has been executed this Christmas Eve is disturbing to say the least. Valuable six week old puppies were seized from their owner without their mother and placed with a rescue organization not yet a 501 c 3 out of your city and out of your county for that matter, with the intent to sell them by this private entity. Are there some connections between your animal control and this rescue, Wags to Wishes? Did the city engage in a contract with this rescue to provide services to the city? If so, where may I view a copy of this contract? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
