[from note to Chottu] On a cynical note: Israel would like nothing better than to see any depopulation of the occupied territories ... Israel is very in the spotlight right now and their arguments of ... but rockets/tunnels ... are not getting much traction outside the US CONGRESS/crazies ... but if they can turn this into something abstract like RIGHT OF RETURN, nobody will give a damn. This will move ISR toward the FACTS ON THE GROUND they want. There isnt really a one state solution, whats usually called the one state solution is really a proposal for an apartheid .75 + .25 state solution which is likely to be unstable, but Israel would probably like the 1 state = 1 + 0 soln [or possible .95 + docile .05 low-power/low-status soln].
