full results WCMMA 14 WCMMA 14 !! The atmosphere at The Troxy on Saturday not only met expectations but exceeded them big time !! It was a packed arena filled with die hard MMA fans, supporters for individual athletes on the fight card and also newbie spectators who I would bet on being in attendance at future events, given that the experience of this WCMMA show was more than exciting enough to have given them all sweaty palms and a hugely increased heart rate !! From the minute you walk in till the minute you walk out you can see why The Troxy Arena is not just a place to go to watch WCMMAand UCMMA shows....... It is THE place to go to if you are looking for a whole nights entertainment package....!! Fighters from big camps,small camps and independent fighters came together to showcase their talent, proving themselves as true athletes at one of the biggest and best promotions in the UK. WCMMA 14 was a force not to be reckoned with on Saturday as Mike Garrett, a first time fighter hailing from the mighty Semtex Gym wowed the crowd with an amazing head kick, his opponent was dropped ..... resulting in a KO in just 1.13 seconds which turned out to not only be a WCMMA record but A NEW WORLD RECORD !!! Another first came from Mervin Pobi as he choked his opponent in a unique style that has never been seen here before and has now been officially called the Pobi Choke .... he will be returning on 13th June for WCMMA 15. WCMMA 14 had a super packed fight card with no less than 23 fights on it ! All the fights were on schedule making it a smooth well organised evening with no blips. When it came to an end (with a lot of back patting ,hand shaking, and compliments) Spectators,sports personalities and a few fighters who are already on the fight card for the next UCMMA 39 event (which is on the 3rd May and is nearly sold out already !) had nothing but positive comments to share with Dave ODonnell and his team !! Clayton McLean took the decision and retains his belt. UK-1 Light weight title..... was won by Paul Dash. Light weight title....Ollie Matthis retained his title in a very close battle against Will Bravery.
