good god,i was lookin up wind turbines in ireland, cos it was on the tv about them in america an i just said id look it up to see if it was true,a farmer if he lives in the midlands is expected to get approx 18000 to allow one to be erected on his land.but according to the farmers who signed up in the us.irish farmers should really think twice about signing up.very interesting.like something from that film with daniel day lewis,no country for old men i think it was.once you sign on the dotted line, well they have you in a shithold basically.so any farmers out there,i hope you do your research.they plough up your land, they build roads and then they ban you from your own land.and my friend who doesnt live near one and never was actually near one,cos she said so, says theyre a definite no no, and she said the noise is horrendous, yet she never was near one to know.well i live beside 2 of them and ive never heard a sound out of them.in fact i walk past them every day and hardly notice them at all.so i guess theres two arguments there, and i really dont know if im for them or against them.
