Midwest | View Regional Video - Scattered showers and thunderstorms develop along a southward moving cold front from southern Missouri northeast to Ohio. - Some thunderstorms may turn severe producing damaging wind gusts and hail, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. - Scattered severe thunderstorms may develop late in the afternoon across the western Dakotas as well. - It should be dry across the remainder of the region. - Highs south of the cold front should still reach the upper 80s and 90s before the thunderstorms develop. - Highs in the upper 80s and 90s are forecast in the western Dakotas, western Nebraska and much of Kansas. - Elsewhere it will be cooler with highs in the 70s to lower 80s.
