good morning family and Friends I have been up for a minute You know i use to think about the holidays as a matter of fact I could not wait for them to come the thought of family getting together especially with my sister I knew she was gonna work the devil out of me and we would have our usual stand off but the rend results would be great we could laugh about the things that had transpired and keep on keeping on the chitterlings, home made barbecue, collard greens, turkey ham you know the usual but most of all a lot of love. now my mom during the holidays was the greatest whenever she went in the kitchen and start humming you knew something spectacular was in the making cakes, pies, oh yea those collard greens and dont forget the traditional fruit cake she had made months earlier for this occasion but most of all these meals were prepared with love, you forget how tired you are, how much time is used preparing the meals, the cost what you do remember is the look on loved ones face when thier faces light up because they are enjoying something that you have made. And that my friend is foood from the heart made with love. I am like my mom I love to cook because it is a labor of love . It is a silent I love you because it is shared by all and it can be seen in their faces. Once the meal is complete u too tired to enjoy it but u absorb all the love that is transmitted by their consumption and that my friend is a great feeling. So this holiday or these holidays just remember someone loves you. Just remembering the family gathering and the Love. Happy holidays. Embrace these gatherings because next time it might be the last time for some. Just feeling some sort of way and missing family . Love to all HAPPY HOLIDAYS
