good morning respected friends, please continue reading...FACT FILE-GHAZAL > it is one of the principal poetic forms of both the pain of loss or separation n beuty of love in spite of that pain. ghazal is so far offered to the eastern islamic world by the indo-perso-arabic civilisation. though the forms of ghazal originated in 6th century but it spread into south east asia in the 12th century due to the influence of sufi mystics n the courts of new islamic sultanate. although the ghazal is most prominently a form of dari (persian dialect) poetry n urdu poetry- today it is found in the poetry of many languages of the indian sub-continent. ghazals were written by RUMI (mawlana jalaluddin muhammod balkh) original founder & composer of ghazal (12th century) n HAFIZ of persia; the azeri poet FUZULI in azerbaijani dialect; MIRZA GHALIB n MUHAMMAD IQBAL of north india & KAZI NAZRUL of undivided bengle.
