got a phone call today which was a bit unsettling. We were told that the tumor board feels that they should have done a more indepth biopsy of this mass through the prostrate area, they want to get into the core. (I thought this was all done!!!) I can understand that this is to completely rule out any possibility of anything being active but what my question is why 1) didnt the tumor board meet before this last biopsy and do everything they needed when he has under anesthesia last time 2) why would you even use the word remission if you needed to do more tests and there was that tiny bit of doubt???? We should be getting some calls tomorrow with more explnations.......just more procedures we have to tell jehan is "normal and routine" that he has to go through...He is so so happy these days and was waiting for the port to be taken out...now that will get delayed..I am sitting here trying to write down questions we need to ask the doctors...
