got hit with a harsh reality today after talking to some professors and doing some soul searching...i have a weakness that cuts so deep in my bones that rips me apart..that weakness is trusting my speed and clutchness over my development...for example, geometry class..i struggle with it because my speed cant process it and my grades suffer because i expect my clutchness to save me from the stuff i dont know...another example is my time management..i work at such a fast pace and do so much in my time that i forget to take the time to develop and appreciate...if i want to be a teacher one day, especially in math..i have to be willing to trust and be patient with my students development...speed is good..but when your life is based upon the ideology of speed...your life becomes the motions..praying to be patient, content, to focus on quality first then quantity..God sees the quality of the heart, not the quantity of what the heart produces..being grateful in all learning and growth..open to whatever God has in store for developing me..quantity is me chasing after winds full speed...quality is allowing God to shape me, in His perfect timing..
