grateful to have spent time with mom and family. I came home desiring sleep. On the way to Fresno my trip was very quiet. But on the way back a few passengers sat with me. Frank from Northern Cali and Miguel from Panama. All the way to Union Station Frank had me cracking up in laughter. He was so funny and his friend sat behind us adding to the humor. Frank is a very sweet soul and his too. Frank is a student in a program call Mystery. Then Miguel sat with me on the way to downtown San Diego. A young student of Industrial Engineering and works full time in Panama. In the late eighties his parents lived very close to General Noriega. And they experienced civil unrest. Miguel hopped on a plane in Panama yesterday morning to visit his friends that attend the University of San Diego and go surf in the ocean. Yes, he brought his surf board with him on the plane and train. :) We spoke both English and Spanish. I thoroughly enjoy traveling at a slower pace because there is always the possibility of meeting people of all walks of life and from many different areas of the world. Teresa
