This is an excellent opportunity for a Health Psychologist to play a role in a challenging and important cross-disciplinary project. We are looking for someone to be a research assistant on this important project working with key figures in the field: Professors Susan Michie, Marie Johnston, Alex Rothman, Mike Kelly and Marijn de Bruin. The post will be based within the Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology. The post-holder will contribute to all aspects of the study: data collection and advanced statistical analysis, developing research protocols and effective study procedures, liaising effectively with research collaborators in the UK and abroad, timely reporting on study progress and dissemination in high quality journal articles and conferences. The post-holder will specifically be responsible for administration of the project, literature reviewing and maintaining the project website. The post-holder will work directly under the Research Associate managing the project and under the overall direction of Susan Michie, Professor of Health Psychology at UCL. The post is funded for 30 months in the first instance. Key Requirements Applicants should be an experienced researcher with an MSc in Health Psychology or a related field. S/he should have an understanding of behaviour change theory and techniques and expertise in statistical analysis, consensus methods and evidence synthesis. S/he should be able to demonstrate evidence of project management administration skills, independent working, good writing skills and show self-direction and good interpersonal skills.
