great video by International Dark Sky Association about using light more responsibly. Usually I share this sort of thing on my personal wall, but this shows why us photographers often have to travel great distances to find dark skies for capturing Milky Way and Aurora. When you look at a night shot someone posts... it is not just a quick snap and share, that one photo often represents hours of driving, money spent on gas and food, lack of sleep, not to mention the processing time on our RAW files when we get back home.
