had to wake up at 630 - did not sleep much and leave my place at 715, as i rented it for a movie shoot today and Sunday. I had to bike to housing court, take photos. I lost some Marc Jacobs cashmere glove that was a present. someone took a single glove from the floor. will look on ebay for a replacement. I used to buy cheap gloves, maybe better just have 3 pairs and be careful. But nothing compared to tenants facing eviction. i biked back home, changed the sweaty clothes for something nicer, picked up my car that was being used for the movie till 11. I went to shoot some party organizer in Greenpoint at Le Gamin. he is throwing a Rasputin themed party. The coffee and basics looked pricey but Id go back there for steamed mussels and bouillabaisse. drove to the east village. Someone crashed on the median of the Williamsburg bridge (something that to me was just time before it would happen) and 2 lanes were blocked. I walked to wholefoods. bought 2 bananas and a mango ataulfo sat on the couch next to a senior east village lady that took her shoes off that was resting there too. my feet were swollen and i took my shoes off too. a security guard reprimanded her because she fell asleep. she said NY is not nice, there is nowhere to rest. she lives on the 5th floor of a walk up and she did not want to go home. I went to Maker Bot in Noho to shoot 3D printing. the assignment editor emailed me about the housing court photos that i had no time to send. I walked to The bean cafe. on the way i ran into some old timer East Village senior lady that was wearing all white / beige and she had d beautiful brown shoes and an aviator / red army style hat. She told me that she does not like how the village has changed. she liked better the drug dealers than the high rises. editing and one more assignment to go
