he angel sat at the edge of the bed and asked, "Certainly you spent time being useful, but did you create goodness?" The background light made it hard to stare directly , but the man spoke clearly in response, "I am not an idle man, but there were days I am sure I did good work". The lips didnt move , but he heard the angelic one again , "Busy does not equal goodness". Befuddled, the man brought memory forth and played the deeds he was most proud. "I see and I know, but the ledger column is lacking. You have more time. Do more. Do good. Be less busy". The man considered a harsh response in defense, but instead acted as a married man and replied m " Yes, I see. I will". The bright light of the morning sun penetrated the room and only one remained" . - An imagined story from Fred 2013
