heard a trail on Radio 4, that the programme I’m sure has replaced the other year ‘Case Notes’ is ‘Inside Health’, sounds a modern type of name least the presenter is the same Dr Mark Porter who is the cousin of (well in my opinion) the irritating Jeremy Clarkson gone off him that well known personality on UK TV. Few minutes earlier heard an interesting broadcast of Interactive or shortened along with the ‘PM’ name to ‘IPM’ programme about a 10-year old girl using a communication device like Stephen Horking the Scientist, a Scottish voice called Heather the girl uses. However, the side issue made me amused, when I heard them mention that the girl will when next at school wear her ‘Landyard’ to class, thus the BBC use just like the RNIB landyards (a badge you wear around your neck), yes I hadn’t heard of it till I went to RNIB HQ in Judd Street near King’s Cross last Autumn when it was introduced and actually think they might be having second thoughts as twice didn’t need to wear one. The term ‘Landyard’ is I understand naval, like so many of our interesting words and phrases derive from.:))/*SMILE*
